Run, starring Sarah Paulson, continues to break records, nabbing the title of “most-watched” movie ever on Hulu during its opening weekend after premiering on November 20th.

While the exact number of views remains a mystery, according to Deadline, Run has beat out not only Hulu originals but also streaming video On Demand films. And has surpassed the previous record-holder, Palms Spring, for the title of “most-watched.”

The film, from the visionary writers, producers, and director of the breakout film Searching, is a suspense thriller that shows that centers on a mother and daughter.

“They say you can never escape a mother’s love… but for Chloe, that’s not a comfort — it’s a threat. There’s something unnatural, even sinister about the relationship between Chloe (newcomer Kiera Allen) and her mom, Diane (Sarah Paulson). Diane has raised her daughter in total isolation, controlling every move she’s made since birth, and there are secrets that Chloe’s only beginning to grasp.”

Run was directed by Aneesh Chagnaty (Searching) who co-wrote the film with Sev Ohanian. Ohanian produces along with Natalie Qasabian. Rhonda Baker co-produces with Colleen Mitchell serving as line producer.
