After a year filled with delays, Warner Bros. is already coming out strong in 2021. They have just announced that the highly-anticipated movie Godzilla vs. Kong is getting an early release! The two mega titans will do battle it out two months ahead of schedule this May and will arrive in both theaters and HBO Max.
“In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”
Adam Wingard, the filmmaker behind The Guest, You’re Next, and Blair Witch, directed the movie that features an all-star cast that includes Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood”), Millie Bobby Brown (“Stranger Things”), Rebecca Hall (The Prestige), Demián Bichir (The Nun), Kyle Chandler (Super 8), and Brian Henry (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse).
