Earlier today we shared the release date for Guillermo del Toro‘s Nightmare Alley, now we’ve got the new date for the long-awaited del Toro produced horror Antlers.

Set in small-town Oregon, a teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, become involved with a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) who is hiding a dark, dangerous secret that has severe consequences.

Antlers is based on the short story “The Quiet Boy” by Nick Antosca (“Chanel Zero”) who co-wrote the script with Henry Chaisson.

Directed by Scott Cooper, Antlers was originally set to arrive in April of 2020 but found itself a victim of the pandemic and was delayed again after being set to arrive this February. But, as they say, it’s better late than never. The new date has been set as October 29, 2021, by Searchlight.
