The long-awaited second season of Netflix’s hit series “The Witcher” is finally headed our way later this year. Netflix has now released a first-look video to whet our appetite during their “Geeked Week” presentation. While scenes are played in rapid prosesion, it does give us a glimpse of what’s to come, but whatever you do don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
 
The series, based on the best-selling books by Andrzej Sapkowski, stars Henry Cavill as the legendary Witcher, Geralt of Rivia. “The Witcher” is a tale of fate and family. In season two, convinced Yennefer’s (Anya Chalotra) life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia  brings Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons fight for supremacy outside its walls, Geralt must protect the girl from something far more dangerous, the mysterious power she possesses inside.
 
The cast of season two includes Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia,Mecia Simsonas Francesca, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Adjoa Andoh as Nenneke, Cassie Clare as Phillippa Eilhart, Liz Carr as Fenn, Graham McTavish as Dijkstra, , Simon Callow as Codringher,Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian, and Chris Fulton as Rience.
