It’s just does not feel like Halloween until you carve a pumpkin. I bet you’ve never thought about from the pumpkin’s point of view though. Without thinking twice we cut off its top, jam our hands inside, and rip it’s innards out, before stabbing a knife into its face and carve out a smile or creepy scene.

There’s another Halloween tradition, Adam Green’s yearly Halloween short film, via Ariescope Pictures. This year those two traditions go hand in hand. Green’s 18th annual Halloween film, titled ‘Don’t Do It’, features horror icon Sid Haig (Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) as the voice of a fouled mouthed pumpkin. ‘The Guest’ actor Chase Williams co-stars as a man having a moral dilemma about carving a pumpkin.
