The supernatural subgenre seems to be something fans just can’t get enough of. There’s a new film on its way that will give fans what they want. 20th Century Fox beat out several bidders and acquired the rights to screenwriter Neil Cross’ supernatural thriller Inside, Deadline reports.
Cross’ most recent project is the BBC series Luther. He also penned the script to the 2013’s Mama which will get a sequel next year.
Inside will be produced by The Picture Company’s Alex Heineman and Andrew Rona. Heineman and Rona are also working with Fox on the remake of Escape from New York, directed by Robert Rodriguez.
No plot has been revealed at this point sources say that the film involves a CDC type facility that houses dangerous artifacts, and a wronged man who finds himself behind bars in the building.
We’ll keep you posted.
