We all remember puberty, that awkward time when your face is covered in pimples, your body is weird and you’re having new feelings you don’t understand. In the new horror film ‘Puberty’, those are the least of your troubles.
Abbie Cornish (Solace, Sucker Punch), Garrett Wareing (Independence Day 2) and Dylan Gelula (Chasing Life) star in the psychological thriller from Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder Films, Variety reports. Eddie Alcazar (Tapia) is directing from the script he co-wrote with Ted Kupper (The Assistant). Flying Lotus is executive producing. Filming is set to begin this winter in Los Angeles.
In the film a teenage boy, played by Wareing. with a violent past is haunted by dark visions. He enters a mysterious clinic where patients are wildly transformed using genetic engineering. He goes through treatment and receives therapeutic implants. He discovers that purity of mind is not actually what he had imagined.
