Neil Marshall’s upcoming film Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen has just added Ian McShane (American Gods) to the cast alongside David Harbour who will be playing Hellboy.

In the reboot, Hellboy will face off against a medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy humankind.
Rise of the Blood Queen, which is aiming to begin filming this fall, was penned by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, and Mike Mignola.
Fans of the Hellboy franchise were shocked back in May to learn that a new Hellboy film was on the way that didn’t involve Guillermo del Toro or Ron Perlman who made the comic based character iconic. Marshall has some seriously big shoes to try to fill.
