Brad Pitt will soon return as the star for the sequel to the 2013 zombie virus outbreak hit ‘WWZ’, loosely (very loosely) based on Max Brooks novel by the same name. In the film Gerry Lane (Pitt) races against time to find patient zero and a cure to the zombie virus that is spreading through the world’s population.

Steve Knight will be writing the new script and J.A. Bayona (The Impossible) will be directing, the film which is set to be released on June 9, 2017. The plot for the sequel is being kept under wraps for now, but we will post updates as more information becomes available.
