Filmmaker Ciarán Foy, has already made a big splash in the genre with his films Citadel and Sinister II. The first information had been revealed for Foy’s psychological thriller Eli and I can’t wait to see it.
The film centers on Eli, a young boy undergoing treatments for a rare disease in a secluded clinic. The clinic in reality is a haunted former prison, that has no way out.
With paranormal aspects, Eli is based on the script originally written by David Chirchirillo and rewritten by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing, the writing duo are behind The Autopsy of Jane Doe (review).
Deadline reports that filming is set to begin this summer. Trevor Macy is producing under Intrepid Pictures’ banner.
