Screen Cap From 1990’s IT. The Losers Club’

We may have a trailer to watch within the next day or so for the newest adaption of Stephen King’s IT. This assumption comes after IT producer Barbara Muschietti, dropped a series of post on Instagram featuring photos from the set of the film featuring Jaeden Wesley, Chosen Jacobs, Jack D. Grazer, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis and Finn Wolfhard in character as the Losers clan (fans of the Stephen King adaption and novel would know I’m referring to the Loser Club, a club formed by the characters as a way of joining together all misfits).

Below you’ll find a series of screen-shots I took from Muschietti’s Instagram page featuring the actors and their assigned roles in hashtag. The posting of these photos, which were done daily for about a week, suggest production is doing a countdown to some big reveal.

Like the 1990 TV-miniseries, King’s rather long novel (original version clocking in at 1,138 pages) of the same name, once again will be cut in half for adaption. The first half of the two-part film adaption, will feature the story of what happened to the “Losers” during their childhood. This half is set to hit theaters this Fall, Sept. 8. The already confirmed second half hasn’t a set release date at the moment.
Andy Muschietti (Mama) directs the pic. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg, and Barbara Muschietti produce it. With Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor alongside Owen Teague and Javier Botet starring opposite Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise).
