George A. Romero’s Empire Of The Dead Being Adapted For TV

It was announced at Cannes that George A. Romero’s comic book series , Empire of the Dead, is set to be adapted for a new TV series. The 15 issue series, first published in 2014, is still in production by Marvel.

The series is set in New York City, several years after the zombie plague has ravaged the city.  Now vampires are ready to take over what remains.

Romero and Peter Grunwald will write the TV series and serve as executive producers along side Sam Englebardt and William D. Johnson.
