There has been a lot of buzz lately about writer/director Kevin Smith and his upcoming film projects ‘Yoga Hosers’, ‘Moose Jaws’ and ‘Clerks III’. I have now learned that Smith has yet another project underway. This time Smith is also directing a segment for the new holiday horror film titled ‘Holidays’.

The film puts a twisted spin on all of our favorite holidays, like Christmas, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Smith’s segment, titled ‘Camhain’, will focus on Halloween. ‘Camhain’ is a twist on Samhain. Smith explains “It’s about CamGirls working on Halloween night.” Smith’s long time partner-in-crime, Jason Mewes, will star in the segment along side Harley Morenstein. Smith stated that  “Harley plays a douchey, villainous CamGirl pimp with a sad shirt.”

‘Holidays’ will also have sections directed by several, very talented directors such as Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold). Nick McCarthy (The Pact), Matt Johnson (The Dirties), Sarah Smith (The Midnight Swim), Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate) and Dennis and Kevin Kolsch, who were behind ‘Starry Eyes’.
