Viewers were fainting in the aisles and vomiting during the recent premier of a new horror movie. The new film ‘Bite’ had their debut screening at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. People assumed that the barf bags given out were all for show, like the advertising ploy used for many horror movies in the 1970’s and early 1980’s , but it didn’t take long for the bags to come in handy. ‘Bite’ is already being compared to the 1986 classic ‘The Fly’, only more vile and graphic. The word is, ‘Bite’ is even harder to stomach than ‘The Human Centipede’. If you are wondering what mind created this twisted tale, that would be writer-director Chad Archibald, who also wrote and directed ‘The Drownsman’.

‘Bite’ follows Casey, played by Elm Begovic, a bride-to-be. When she joins her bridesmaids and friends for a bachelorette trip to an island, she is bitten by a strange insect and soon starts to transform into an insect herself. Casey begins to act on her strange new impulses and create a hive that holds her eggs. She also has a new hunger, for flesh. The once beautiful woman is transformed into a grotesque, oozing creature.
