Robert Kirkman’s new TV series ‘Outcast’, based on the graphic novel he created ,along with artist Paul Azceta, by the same name, has revealed it’s first poster. A picture of the book’s cover side by side with a photo of Patrick Fugit, the star of the series has also been released.
The series follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession through out his life. With the help of Reverand Anderson, a priest who is struggling with demons of his own, Kyle sets out on a journey to find answers, but what he discovers could change his fate and the fate of the world.
Kirkman penned the pilot’s script, which will be directed by Adam Wingard, the director of ‘You’re Next’ and ‘The Guest’. Along with the series will also star Cameron Blackwelder (The Longest Ride), Pete Burris (Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2), Lacy Camp (The Hitman) and Philip Glenister (Ashes to Ashes) and many more.
Those of you visiting this year’s San Diego Comic-Con will be able to get their hands on the variant of the cover art. You will also be able to attend the ‘Outcast’ panel held in Room 6DE on Saturday, July 11 at 3:00 p.m.
