We have all heard of the Ouija board, most of us have toyed with one. In the backs of our minds there was always the question, What if it isn’t just a game? ‘Ouija’ explores the possibility that the board really can communicate with the other side and what can go wrong.

Debbie, played by Shelly Hennig (Teen Wolf), broke the first rule of using a Ouija board, never play alone. She opened a door and something came through. When Debbie suddenly commits suicide, her friends struggle to understand why. Debbie’s best friend Laine (Olivia Cooke) stumbles across an old Ouija board in Debbie’s room and is reminded of how they would play with a board as kids. Laine gathers four of her and Debbie’s friends together to try to reach out to Debbie in the spirit world. The friends gather around a dark table in Debbie’s empty house and they the say the words to open the lines of communication. Someone answers, but is it really Debbie?

‘Ouija’ is dark, twisted and action packed. The movie definitely had a creepy factor to it. I wont say why, but it made me think twice about flossing that night *shivers. If you’re wondering if I would recommend watching ‘Ouija’ , I defiantly would. I would also recommend that you watch in the dark.

Juliet Snowden and Stiles White teamed up to write screenplay and the pair did a great job. Director Stiles White really did a wonderful job with ‘Ouija’. There are so many creepy moments that work so perfectly.

The cast of ‘Ouija’ includes Ana Coto, Daren Kagasoff, Bianca A. Santos and Douglas Smith. Lin Shaye also stars in ‘Ouija’. You may recognize Shaye from her roles as the medium in ‘Insidious’ and ‘Insidious 2’.
