Sam (Maurice Luijten), a twelve year old, is a bit of an outcast. Sam, along with a troop of Cub scouts and their teenage guides on a camping trip, find a spot and pitch their tents in an area of a forest rumored to be the hunting grounds of a werewolf.
Sam can’t help himself, he strikes out on his own in search of the legendary creature. Instead of a werewolf, Sam finds a feral boy, who is a true killer.
‘Cub’, which fits in the subcategory of horror referred to as “splatter”, is a Belgian film full of nonstop action, gore and blood. Director Jonas Govaerts, who co-wrote the film with Roel Mondelers, also directed the 2004 movie ‘Mobius’. ‘Cub’ stars Stef Aerts, Evelien Bosmans, Pieter De Brabandere, Thomas De Smet, Titus De Voogdt, Isah De Zutter and many more.
‘Cub’ will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD on August 18th.
