In 1960 Janet Leigh starred as Marion Crane in the original ‘Psycho’, the story of a woman who stole $40,000 from her employer. While fleeing she stumbled onto a road side motel, where she decided to stop. She did not know at the time that the man who owns the motel, Norman Bates, is psycho.
Her character in ‘Psycho’ was well written and her acting amazing. She went down in horror history for not only her role but also for being the first woman in an on screen “shower scene”.
Janet went on to star in over eighty-five films, including ‘Halloween H2O’
