We were ecstatic to report back in June that not only were fans getting a second season of The Exorcist, but that a premiere date had been announced.
In June, we told you that Harold & Kumar actor John Cho and Brianna Hildebrand, who will play a foster child, had joined the cast which includes returning stars Ben Daniels, Alfonzo Herrera, and Kurt Egyiawan who played the priests in the first season.
Today, we have more casting news, Quantico’s Li Jun Li has signed on to play the role of Rose, a social worker assigned to a group home run by Andrew Kim (Cho).

This season, “Father Bennett (Egyiawan) attempts to weed out those within the Vatican who have turned against God. Ultimately, Tomas and Marcus are led to Andrew Kim (Cho), a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children under Andrew’s care is targeted by a powerful force, the two priests head west, setting themselves on a collision course with Hell.”

The Exorcist’s second season will premiere on Friday, September 29 on Fox, from Morgan Creek Productions and 20th Century Fox. The series creator, Jeremy Slater, serves as executive producer along with Sean Crouch, Rupert Wyatt, Roy Lee, James Robinson, Barbara Wall, and David Roberson.
