Paramount+’s action-packed series adaptation of the hit gaming franchise “Halo” first premiered in 2022. The series, whose first season premiere marked the most viewed premiere in Paramount+’s history, dethroning “1883,” returns for an all-new second season this February. And the explosive new trailer is here.
When all seems lost, a hero can emerge. Follow Master Chief John-117 and his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. As humanity’s best hope for winning the war, John-117 discovers his deep connection to a mysterious alien structure that holds the key to humankind’s salvation or destruction — the Halo.
In partnership with 343 Industries and Amblin Television, Showtime is responsible for producing “Halo.” The show’s second season is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, and Justin Falvey on behalf of Amblin Television.
Season 2 introduces new characters, such as Joseph Morgan, who plays the role of James Ackerson, a skilled intelligence operative who has dedicated his career to advancing within the secretive Office of Naval Intelligence. Additionally, Cristina Rodlo joins the cast as Talia Perez, a corporal with expertise in linguistics within the UNSC Marine Corps communications unit. Despite being a fresh recruit, Talia has yet to experience actual combat.
In addition to Schreiber’s John-117, the cast will include returning actors such as Jen Taylor, Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O’Shaughnessy, and Tylan Bailey for eight more episodes.
Tune in for the action-packed second season of “Halo” premiering on Paramount+ on February 8, 2024.
