Level 33 Entertainment presents The Shade, a gripping psychological horror-thriller written and directed by Tyler Chipman, who is making his feature film debut.
The Shade centers on twenty-year-old Ryan, a young man who struggles with a debilitating anxiety disorder following his father’s death. Ryan must team up with his two brothers to break the destructive cycle threatening their family as ancient darkness closes in on them.
The cast of the film includes Tyler Chipman (Hush), Chris Galust (Give Me Liberty), Laura Benanti ( “Guilded Age”), Dylan McTee (Wrong Turn), and Mariel Molino (“The Watchful Eye”). Germain Arroyo (“S.W.A.T”), Brendan Sexton III (Don’t Breathe 2), Sam Duncan (“What We Do In The Shadows”), and Michael Boatman (Hamburger Hill) round out the cast.
The Shade has already garnered acclaim and awards on the film festival circuit, bringing home awards for Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Special Effects. It has captivated audiences with its suspenseful narrative and powerful performances. Now, it’s coming home to a small screen near you. The Shade will premiere on Demand on November 22.
