One of the year’s best films, Speak No Evil, a chilling psychological horror-thriller, is coming to Peacock this December. Add it to your “must-see” list now!
The film is a remake of the 2022 original Danish movie. The remake is from writer-director James Watkins (Eden Lake, The Woman in Black) and stars James McAvoy in one of his best performances to date.
In the film, which I called “brilliant and unnerving” in my review, Ben and Louise befriend a British couple. They accept an invitation to a weekend at a country estate. Once they arrive, they begin to realize their hosts hide sinister motives. Soon, the couple and their daughter are locked in a fight for survival.
McAvoy (Split) stars Aisling Franciosi (Game of Thrones), Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire), and Scoot McNairy ( A Quiet Place II). Alix West Lefler ( Riverdale) and newcomer Dan Hough (Hollyoaks) round out the cast.
Hailing from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, Speak No Evil will make its streaming debut on Peacock on December 6. You can own it now on Blu-ray, which includes killer bonus features.
