The iconic horror franchise 28 Days Later is set to return with a new installment, 28 Years Later. Franchise creator Danny Boyle and co-writer  Alex Garland return for the sequel.

A chilling teaser trailer has been released. It offers a brief blink, and you’ll miss it,  glimpse into the nightmarish world that awaits. The footage showcases a scarecrow, and you can hear Morse’s code repeating what sounds like the word “Tuesday.” It gives the impression that the trailer is coming on a Tuesday, possibly this week.

Cillian Murphy, who starred in the original film, is set to reprise his role as Jim, a man who awakens from a coma to find a world overrun by the infected. A talented cast, including Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, will join him.

While most plot details remain under wraps, it’s clear that the new installment, the first of several, will explore the long-term consequences of the virus outbreak. With Boyle and Garland at the helm, fans can expect a familiar blend of suspense, horror, and social commentary.
