A few days ago, we reported that “Gen V” star Asa German had joined the cast of Scream 7. Now, news has come that another name, Mckenna Grace, has been added to the roster

Grace is a familiar face. She starred in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, playing Pheobe, the granddaughter of the iconic character and original Ghostbuster Egon Spengler. Deadline reports that she will reunite with her Afterlife co-star, Celeste O’Connor, for the Scream sequel.

The cast of Scream 7 is shaping up to be impressive, with Grace and O’Connor joining alongside German and original scream queens Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox. Melissa Barrera reportedly returns alongside franchise newbie Isabel May, who will play the role of Sidney Prescott’s daughter.

Campbell and Cox aren’t the only ones returning to the franchise. Kevin Williamson, the writer of the original movie, is in the director’s chair for the sequel, written by Guy Busick, who co-wrote the original. Project X’s James Vanderbilt, William Shreak, and Paul Neinstein are producing.

Scream 7 will slash its way into theaters nationwide on February 27, 2026. We’ll keep you posted as more news surfaces. In the meantime, watch Scream 6 on Paramount+.
