Get ready for a thrilling and darkly comedic trip. Get Away, a new horror film starring and written by Nick Frost is heading your way this January.
The film follows the Smith family on a disastrous vacation to the remote Swedish island of Svalta. As the family tries to enjoy their getaway, they encounter unsettling events, from unfriendly locals to bizarre rituals. However, things take a deadly turn when they discover a serial killer is on the loose.
Get Away promises a blend of humor and horror. Frost’s signature comedic style adds a unique twist to the slasher genre. The film also features a talented cast, including Aisling Bea, Sebastian Croft, Maisie Ayres, and Eero Milonoff.
Nick Frost is best known for his collaborations with filmmaker Edgar Wright. He’s starred in films the iconic zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead, the action-packed flick Hot Fuzz, and the sci-fi comedy Paul, all of which co-starred Simon Pegg. Frost most recently starred in the rideshare horror Black Cab. Watch it now on Shudder.
