Adam Scott, the acclaimed star of the hit series “Severance,” is set to return to the horror genre in Hokum, a new film from Oddity director Damian McCarthy.
Variety reports that Peter Coonan and David Wilmot join Scott in the cast. Hokum marks McCarthy’s latest project, whose film Oddity became a breakout hit after its premiere earlier this year, making it onto our “Best Horror Movies of 2024” list.
In Hokum, Scott will play a horror novelist who travels to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes. However, he is unaware that the inn is rumored to be haunted. A witch reportedly haunts its halls. He soon finds himself in danger.
