Ahead of its premiere in March, a new trailer has arrived for The Rule of Jenny Pen, starring John Lithgow and Geoffrey Rush. The trailer teases that a supernatural force may be at play. Watch as the creepy doll’s expression appears to change.

James Ashcroft (Coming Home in the Dark) directed this chilling tale, which was penned by Eli Kent and Ashcroft based on Owen Marshall’s story.

The film follows Judge Stefan Mortensen (Rush) ‘s descent into madness after he is forced to move into a retirement home after suffering a stroke. Mortensen clashes with his roommate, Dave Crealy (Lithgow). The man secretly terrorizes the Home with a sadistic game, using a doll as his instrument of cruelty. However, as Crealy’s torment escalates, Mortensen must find a way to stop Crealy before his game claims more victims.

Nathaniel Lees, Maaka Pohatu, Thomas Sainsbury, Ian Mune, Bruce Phillips, and Holly Shanahan round out the cast. The film has already won awards at film festivals, including “Best Director” and “Best Actor “at Fantastic Fest and “Best Actor” at Sitges.
