Prepare for a descent into madness as Breaking Glass Pictures unleashes Unspeakable: Beyond the Wall of Sleep, the terrifying conclusion to Chad Ferrin’s Lovecraftian trilogy. This genre-bending fever dream, starring Edward Furlong (“Terminator 2: Judgment Day”), Robert Miano, and Susan Priver, arrives worldwide this March.
Inspired by an H.P. Lovecraft short story, Unspeakable: Beyond the Wall of Sleep follows Ambrose London (Furlong), a renowned oneirologist—a specialist in the study of dreams. He is summoned to the infamous Arkham Asylum to investigate a disturbing case. The spirit of a 122-year-old colonial peasant seemingly possesses a man. However, Ambrose’s experimental “Dream Machine” malfunctions, inadvertently opening a portal to a malevolent alien entity. This entity is hellbent on the annihilation of the world. The asylum descends into chaos as reality unravels into a twisted, nightmarish descent into cosmic horror.
“This film is unlike anything horror fans have seen before—an absolute mind-melter of cosmic horror and psychological terror,” proclaims Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures. “Chad Ferrin delivers a fearless, blood-soaked descent into Lovecraftian madness, and Edward Furlong is phenomenal.”
Ferrin and Robert Miano produced the film. Its impressive ensemble cast includes Bai Ling, Ginger Lynn, Lew Temple, Steve Railsback, and Cyril O’Reilly.
The film has garnered critical acclaim at various film festivals, winning awards such as Best Supporting Actress (Bai Ling) and Best Practical Creature FX (Joe Castro) at the Hollywood Horrorfest and Best Score (Matt Olivo) at the Romford Film Festival. It also took home the award for Best Sci-Fi Feature at the Atlanta Horror Film Fest and more.
The film will plunge viewers into the depths of Lovecraftian dread. With its blend of cosmic horror, body horror, and psychological terror, this film is a must-see for fans of the genre. Prepare for a journey beyond the veil of sanity when Unspeakable: Beyond the Wall of Sleep arrives from Breaking Glass Pictures on March 4, 2025.
