Today at Nacon Connect, One-O-One Games and Daedalic Entertainment announced their upcoming first-person folk-horror game, The Fading of Nicole Wilson. Along with the news comes a spine-chilling trailer that offers up a mystery of this story-driven game.
Players will be stepping into the shoes of Brit, a teenage girl who takes on the role of a Ghost Hunter and is sent to investigate an abandoned hotel. Her employer is hospitalized leaving Bri alone to investigate, and it soon becomes evident that there’s something not right about the Timberline Hotel, and Brit might not be alone…
Players will explore the world using paranormal equipment to find evidence of the paranormal as the game will feature binaural sound, a story with flawed and relatable characters, puzzles, and investigative mechanics that will help tell the mystery that Timberline Hotel holds.
The Fading of Nicole Wilson will be released later this year for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
