Embark on a perilous quest into a realm of dark medieval fantasy with A Knight’s War, coming to Blu-ray and DVD this April.

A Knight on a Mission

A Knight’s War plunges viewers into a world where loyalty and survival collide. The film follows Bhodie, a knight of ambiguous origins but unwavering devotion, on a treacherous mission. He is tasked with venturing into a dangerous realm to retrieve the corrupted soul of the Chosen One. His journey leads him through a harrowing landscape populated by malevolent witches, demonic entities, and brutal adversaries. Bhodie must not only contend with these external threats but also confront the chilling possibility that the Chosen One’s return could unleash chaos and doom upon the world.

Director Matt Ninaber speaks passionately about the film, stating, “A KNIGHT’S WAR is a testament to what can be achieved with passion, creativity, and an incredible team. This film holds a special place in my heart because of the sheer determination and effort that went into every aspect of its creation. The grit and love that went into this film are undeniable when you see it on screen.”

A Knight’s War marks the fourth collaboration between the talented Ninaber brothers. Matt Ninaber directs. Jeremy Ninaber, renowned for his role in Psycho Goreman and his directorial work on Death Valley, stars in the film. Adding to the film’s unique character, Matt Ninaber even partially filmed A Knight’s War in his backyard, with all sets meticulously constructed by hand. This DIY approach lends an authentic and raw aesthetic to the film’s dark medieval setting.

Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald expresses his enthusiasm for the film: “A KNIGHT’S WAR is an exciting blend of horror and medieval storytelling that we’re proud to have co-financed and can’t wait for audiences to experience. Horror fans will appreciate how director Matthew Ninaber masterfully brings this dark underworld journey to life. This marks our third collaboration with Epic, and it’s been an absolute privilege to partner with such incredible talent again.”
