Pretty Boy, the sequel to the 2019 indie horror flick Blind, and this time, love is gonna leave a mark – a bloody one, that is. Thanks to Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment, this love letter to the gnarly ’80s slasher flicks is all set to slice its way onto VOD.

A Masked Killer

If you thought your last Valentine’s Day was awkward, wait until you see this. Pretty Boy throws us back into a world of masked mayhem. Remember Faye, the Hollywood actress left blind after a botched laser surgery in the first movie? Well, things are about to get even worse for her. She’s abducted from her home by a creepy masked lunatic who goes by the name of Pretty Boy. And trust me, the killer’s mask alone is enough to give you the shivers, radiating some serious uncanny valley vibes.

Pretty Boy doesn’t just take Faye for a quiet chat. Oh no. He drags her to a nearby house where many decadent swingers throw a wild, retro Valentine’s Day party. As these partygoers start bumping into Pretty Boy and his trusty machete one by one, things will get messy quickly. Meanwhile, Faye has to use all her wits to figure out a way to escape this blood-soaked nightmare.

A Talented Cast and Crew

The good news for fans of Blind is that the dream (or rather, nightmare) team is back! Blind director Marcel Walz (Blood Feast) and writer Joe Knetter (Twilight of the Dead) have reunited for even more bloodshed in Pretty Boy. Sarah French is back as the resilient Faye, while Jed Rowen returns as the disturbingly masked Pretty Boy.

But the body count won’t just be limited to the partygoers. The cast includes Heather Grace Hancock, Devanny Pinn (“Camp Pleasant Lake”), Jake Red, Andrew Rohrbach, and Sarah Nicklin (Popeye The Slayer Man). Robert Felsted Jr., Fritzi Marth, Ben Stobber, Tyler Gallant, and Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie) round out the cast. With this crew, you know there’s gonna be plenty of screaming and running.

Coming Soon

So, if you’re craving retro slasher goodness (and a seriously unsettling masked killer), mark your calendars for May 27th. Pretty Boy looks like it will deliver the kind of gory, suspenseful fun that’ll make you think twice about celebrating romance again.
