Davide Melini Announces: “Italian Giallo is Ready to Make its Return”

Davide Melini (Lions, Penny Dreadful, Into the Badlands) is thrilled to announce his upcoming short film Deep Shock.  Starring Muireann Bird, Francesc Pagès, George Bracebridge, Lorna Larkin, Erica Prior, Luis Fernández de Eribe.

Melini’s hope with this new film is to pay tribute to the Italian film genre called “giallo” (thrilling) and the title of this project is inspired by the most famous horror movies of two of the most important Italian directors: Dario Argento (“Deep Red”) and Mario Bava (“Shock”).Muireann Bird, Francesc Pagès, George Bracebridge, Lorna Larkin, Erica Prior, Luis Fernández de Eribe

Along with the announcement of this thrilling new film, Melini has released a promotional teaser that certainly has my attention.  It is a perfect trailer, not giving too much away, but allowing us to really feel the emotion and atmosphere of this film.
