CBS All Access Will Be Replaced By Paramount+ This March

CBS All Access, the streaming app that gives subscribers access to CBS’ extensive library will be ending this March. Have no fear, Paramount+ from ViacomCBS will be replacing it, giving subscribers a lot more content by combining the two’s libraries. The news was announced back in September of 2020, but the date was not revealed, until now. The change will occur on March 4, 2021. More details about Paramount+ will be revealed on February 24th by ViacomCBS including a first look at the app, which already has a live website. In hopes of attracting more subscribers, Paramount+ will be introducing a number of new originals including the 10-episode miniseries “The Offer”, about the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather, a new iteration of MTV’s Behind The Music, and a revival of The Game. Subscribers will also get access to more than 30,000 episodes and movies from ViacomCBS’s channels BET, Nickelodeon, MTV, and Comedy Central. Some of CBS All Access’

Actor Brad Henke Talks CBS’s “The Stand” In Our Interview

Unless you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, you’ve heard that a new limited series adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” is on its way. I had the opportunity to sit down with one of the show’s cast, Brad William Henke, who plays the central role of Tom Cullen. Of course, this is far from the first time that I’ve heard Henke’s name, you see he’s starred in two of my favorite series, “Orange Is the New Black” in which he played a prison guard with a wrapped sense of justice, and “Justified”, as a redneck bad guy. CBS All Access has added another name to the cast of their Josh Boon directed series adaptation of “The Stand,” Horns and The Hangover III actress Heather Graham, Deadline reports. Graham is set to play the role of Rita Blakemoor, a wealthy woman who is not prepared for the end of the world and attempts to flee super-flu infested New York City. Alexander Skarsgard Among New Cast For CBS All Access’ ‘The Stand’

The cast has been quickly building for CBS All Access’ reboot of Stephen King‘s “The Stand“. King himself appeared on “The View” today as part of the publicity for the miniseries where he revealed that co-host Whoopi Goldberg will play the role of Mother Abagail. The announcement triggered Collider to do some digging with the goal of learning who will play one of the most important roles, that of Randall Flagg. It turns out that he will be played by “True Blood” and “Big Little Lies” actor Alexander Skarsgård! Flagg made his first appearance in “The Stand” back in 1978 but has since popped up in several of King’s other stories including The Dark Tower and Hearts of Atlantis. Marilyn Manson Will Rock “The Stand” Series In More Ways Than One

Josh Boone (The New Mutants) and CBS All Access’ series adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” has already cast several big names including James Marsden (“West World”) and Amber Heard (Aquaman). Today news broke that rocker-actor Marilyn Manson has now confirmed that not only will he be contributing to the series’ soundtrack, but he’ll also be co-starring. I also did a cover of “The End” by the Doors, for a new miniseries of The Stand by Stephen King, which I’m also going to be acting in.” Manson stated. Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost), and Greg Kinnear (“The Twilight Zone”) also star alongside Odessa Young (“Assassination Nation), and Henry Zaga (“The New Mutants”). Boone and Ben Cavell executive produce along with Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller, and Richard P. Rubenstein. Owen King will produce. This is far from being Manson’s first film role, in fact, he already has forty roles under his belt, including his recurring roles on TV’s “Sons of Anarchy” and “Salem”.

Paul Wesley Returning For Season Two Of Horror Anthology Series “Tell Me A Story”

Kevin Williamson‘s series “Tell Me A Story” premiered last year, putting a dark, sinister twist on our most beloved classic fairy tales. Deadline is reporting that the series’ second season of the CBS All Access anthology series is on its way with star Paul Wesley returning. According to the site, season two will take aim at Disney Princesses and will put a spin on the tales of Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
