Heather Graham Joins CBS All Access’ “The Stand”

CBS All Access has added another name to the cast of their Josh Boon directed series adaptation of “The Stand,” Horns and The Hangover III actress Heather Graham, Deadline reports.

 

Graham is set to play the role of Rita Blakemoor, a wealthy woman who is not prepared for the end of the world and attempts to flee super-flu infested New York City.

 

She joins  Alexander Skarsgård, Whoopi Goldberg, Jovan Adepo, Marilyn Manson, Owen Teague, Brad William Henke, Daniel Sunjata, James Marsden, Amber Heard, Nat Wolff, Eion Bailey, Odessa Young, Katherine McNamara, Henry Zaga, and Hamish Linklater.

 

The series will depict Stephen King‘s tale of a world decimated by plague and locked in a struggle between good and evil. The fate of mankind rests on the shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abagail (Goldberg) and a handful of survivors and their worst nightmare, Randall Flagg (Skarsgård), an evil man with unspeakable powers.
