Movie Park Germany has officially announced that slasher royalty is heading to its 2026 Halloween Horror Festival. The park’s newest flagship attraction is a haunted maze built around the “Jason Universe.” It will bring the terrifying legacy of the Friday the 13th icon, Jason Voorhees, directly to European parkgoers. Designed to plunge visitors headfirst into the hockey-masked killer’s domain, the house breathes fresh energy into one of cinema’s most enduring horror franchises.
Expanding the Slasher Legacy Internationally
The new attraction marks a major milestone for Horror, Inc.’s Jason Universe. It offers European fans their first opportunity to step inside a dedicated, high-production Jason Voorhees walkthrough experience. One that runs from September 26 to November 8.
Robbie Barsamian, Executive Vice President at Horror, Inc., expressed immense excitement over the partnership, emphasizing that bringing Jason Voorhees to Movie Park Germany allows the company to serve international horror fans on a massive scale while honoring a bloody legacy that audiences have obsessed over for decades.
“Partnering with Movie Park to bring Jason Voorhees to life in this fantastic maze is incredible, especially as this allows us to serve fans at an international scale,” says Robbie Barsamian. “It gives our horror fans in Europe an unforgettable way to step inside the legacy they’ve obsessed over for decades.”
A Banner Year for the Jason Universe
The Movie Park Germany maze arrives amid a massive global resurgence of the franchise throughout 2026. Under the “Jason Universe” banner, Horror, Inc. is expanding Jason’s reach across television, gaming, and live events.
The autumn season also marks the launch of A24 and Peacock’s prequel series “Crystal Lake“ on October 15, alongside major U.S. haunt partnerships with Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group and high-profile gaming crossovers like Jason’s entry into Dead by Daylight.
