Well hello my Little Monsters. As you may have just seen above, a deliciously dark and scary new poster for Alien: Covenant has just been released. This image seems to be a xenomorph depiction of “The Gates of Hell” by Rodin. If you are not familiar with it, Google it, because it’s an astounding sight to behold. Perhaps this image is meant to signify the “hell” that will rain down upon the characters in this prequel to Scott’s 1979 film Alien.
I don’t know about any of you, but with each trailer, image or poster that gets released for this movie, I start fiending like crazy. AND WE ARE STILL ALMOST TWO LONG MONTHS AWAY FROM THE RELEASE DATE!
Whew…sorry about that, but I am seriously psyched to see this new installment of the Alien franchise. I think I’m beginning to understand how Renton from Trainspotting felt when he was trying yo kick the skag. Maybe that’s overstating it, but I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down.
Well my Little Monsters, as we impatiently await Alien: Covenant’s May 19th release date, hopefully there will be more images clips or posters coming our way. Until then I’m off to binge watch the Alien movies to date, auf wiedersehen meine gefährlichen Kreaturen.
