With Principal Photography wrapped on new, experimental horror film Flesh of the Void, a first trailer has shown up online. From first time feature director James Quinn, Void is shot on a combination of expired Super 8 film stock and 16 MM in order to achieve an uncomfortable vibe (the trailer is certainly disturbing.) Flesh of the Void is “intended as a disjointed, surreal trip through the deepest and most violent fears of the human condition, depicting its subject in a radical, grotesque and raw manner, refusing to shy away from societal taboos.” Releasing sometime later in 2017, this film is looking to be one hell of a trip.
