There are new details about OVERKILL’s upcoming co-op game, OVERKILL’S The Walking Dead. The story takes place in Washington D.C. in the middle of the zombie outbreak. Four players team up and set out to find both survivors and supplies for their base camp as they fight both the living and the dead first-person shooter style.
The team has options of how they can fight in this game, either stealthily as possible or guns blazing, the choice is yours, but be ready for a hoard or two waiting. There will be four characters that have their own set of skills and upgrades as well as their own personal backstory.
As of right now only two of the four characters have been named as well as character trailers for them. There’s Aiden, a former architect, and Maya, a former surgeon. Already you can tell that it’s safe to say that Maya is the medic of the team and can heal other players as Aiden can build things (possibly traps or barriers) meaning the next two characters will most likely have an important set of skills too.
The game is set to be released this fall for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
