C. Thomas Howell is set to star in AMC’s “The Terror: Infamy“, the second season of the historical anthology series that debuted last year.
“Set during World War II, the haunting and suspenseful 10-episode season centers on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community, and a young man’s journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible.”
Actor, author, and activist George Takei (Star Trek) will be a series regular as well as a consultant for the series. Derek Moi (“Seal Team”) will also be starring along with Alex Shimizu, Hira Ambrosino, Eiji Inoue, James Saito, Teach Grant, Mathew Bittroff, Kai Bradbury, and William deVry.
Howell, known for his role in the horror classic The Hitcher, is a legendary actor who made his film debut in E.T. He played the role of Ponyboy in the film adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsider directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Howell also starred in films such as The Hillside Strangler, The Amazing Spider-Man, and series like “Criminal Minds”, “Grimm”, and “The Walking Dead”. In total Howell has over 200 roles to his credit.
“The Terror: Infamy” begins production this January in Vancouver, Canada and is executive produced by co-creator Alexander Woo (“True Blood”), who also serves as showrunner, and Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island).
