Good news for fans of Remothered: Tormented Fathers! New details and cover art for the game’s sequel Remothered: Broken Porcelain is out and I’m here to share it with you! It’s OK, squeeing is allowed since I can hardly contain my glee as well!
Previously I covered the announcement for Remothered: Broken Porcelain which at the time was under a different name but now there are more details about the game and what horrors we can be expecting as the horror from the first game continues.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be taking place at the Ashmann Inn and follows Jen, a 15-year old misfit who has just been employed as a maid. Jen realizes soon that a dark force dwells within the walls of the old inn and is affecting those who live and work there. Along with her friend and fellow maid Linn, the pair works to escape the horrors that begin to unfold at the inn.
At the center of the horrors is a mysterious hooded figure known as “Porcelain”, a man said to stalk the halls of the inn that whistles and torments those who are staying/living there. Adding to the mystery, Rosemary Reed, the main protagonist from Remothered: Tormented Fathers will be returning as she continues her search for the missing Celeste Felton as she confronts a former enemy, the owner of the Ashmann Inn.
The game’s mechanics will be the same as before, hiding and being stealthy are your only means of survival as well as trying to outsmart those that are looking for you. There will be some changes though, for the first time in the series there will be real-time cinematics, meaning the same graphics and art used during gameplay will match the cut-scenes.
Remotherd: Broken Porcelain will be coming summer of 2020 both digitally and physically for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
