Indie game developer Pet Project Games is getting a major boost with their newly formed partnership with legendary game publisher 3D Realms to get their latest project out later this year, first-person sci-fi horror shooter RIPOUT.
RIPOUT takes players to the year 2084 as one of Humanity’s lone survivors. Earth developed a bio-weapon to fight off an alien invasion, but in typical sci-fi horror fashion…it turned against us. Now surrounded by mutated creatures once human, you must fight for survival with your living weapon.
RIPOUT will feature procedurally generated levels with a variety of objectives, hoards of enemies who can configure their bodies requiring you to exploit their weaknesses, customizable weapon loadouts and character classes, 10 to 20 minute long missions, scalable difficulty (the more players, the harder the gameplay), single-player or online co-op with up to four players.
RIPOUT is expected to be released later in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
