Game developer The Chinese Room, makers of first-person horror titles Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Dear Esther, and game publisher Secret Mode are giving players a glimpse behind the scenes for their upcoming first-person horror STILL WAKES THE DEEP.
STILL WAKES THE DEEP takes players up to the North Sea off the coast of Scotland in the 1970s as a worker on the Beira D oil rig. A storm begins to hammer the old rig as its age begins to take its toll on the structure and begins to put everyone on board in danger, but the real danger is not the storm and the sinking rig… It’s whatever that came out of the sea and is now on board the rig with you.
STILL WAKES THE DEEP will be coming out in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
