In 2009, the internet and entertainment changed with the arrival of a photoshopped image on the website Something Awful that spawned many indie games, merchandise, a movie, and even controversy. I’m talking about the Slender Man, and in 2013, his story reached more people in the form of an indie PC game called Slender: The Arrival. Today, Blue Isle Studios announced the long-awaited 10-year upgrade to Slender: The Arrival!
For the first time, Slender: The Arrival will be on consoles besides PC. Fans of the original will see immediately that the graphics are way better, thanks to the game’s world being updated with the Unreal Engine 5! In addition to the new graphics comes a brand new chapter! A new story where Charlie Matheson’s father experiences his worst nightmare. This free addition to the game offers a sneak preview of what’s next!
Slender: The Arrival will be coming out on October 18th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are available now.
