Fans will have to wait to experience the love letter to the OG of survival horror, Alone in the Dark, which was going to be released in October, will now be released in 2024. The reason for the change is surprisingly quite common in the gaming industry.
For those not in the know, this year’s fall is full of game releases, especially horror games that want to be THE game to play on Halloween. Because of the multiple releases around the same time, Pices Interactive and THQ Nordic have pushed Alone in the Dark‘s release to January 16th, 2024. The delay will not only allow players to enjoy the mass releases this October. It will also allow Alone in the Dark a good once-over to ensure a smooth release.
Alone in the Dark will be coming out on January 16th, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
