11 Bit Studio and Fool’s Theory today announced the release date for their gritty RPG, The Thaumaturge, along with information on a playable demo that’s live now on STEAM and a roadmap of the game’s release on Console next year! Along with the news comes a new gameplay trailer.
The Thaumaturge follows Wiktor, a Thaumaturge who has returned to his home in Warsaw, Poland in 1905 and sees how much it has changed for good on its surface, but spiritually… something sinister lurks in both the shadows and in the hearts of the people. Wiktor, along with the help of demonic creatures called Salutors, takes on corruption in the city he calls home at the risk of his sanity.
From now (October 9th) to the 16th, players can play the demo on STEAM during Steam Next Fest and check out the game’s prologue and combat mechanics.
The Thaumaturge will be coming out on December 5th for PC but is planned to be released on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in early 2024!
