The announcement was revealed during the season 2 finale of the animated series on YouTube. Hello Neighbor 3 will complement the franchise roster after Hello Neighbor, Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek, Secret Neighbor: Hello Neighbor Multiplayer, Hello Engineer: Scrap Machines Constructor, Hello Neighbor 2, and Hello Neighbor VR: Search and Rescue, all available now.

Looking at reactions online, it’s safe to say the feelings are quite mixed as many fans criticize Tinybuild’s development of Hello Neighbor 2 claiming that it’s not finished. I’ll admit I’ve never played any of the games in this series but I noticed right away that there’s a definite change in how the game looks compared to the first installment of the series.
