Indie New Zealand-based game developer, Unclear Games, has announced their upcoming survival horror game, The Florist, a survival horror game that promises to look as beautiful as it is scary.
The Florist tells the story of Jessica Park, who arrives in the lakeside town of Joycliffe to make a last-minute delivery of flower arrangements. The town quickly descends into a deadly game of survival against omnipresent floral overgrowth, turning people into creatures, and leaving Jessica as the only survivor.

What sets The Florist apart from other survival horror games is that the game promises to be colorful and beautiful, even though something horrid is occurring. With hand-crafted environments and fixed-camera design, every level has been finely developed for both beauty and playability.
Other notable design features include multiple difficulty and accessibility options, unlimited inventory to pick up everything along the journey, autosave checkpoints, and plenty of bonus features and hidden content (a staple of the genre). Taking inspiration from legendary classics, while also introducing modern gameplay improvements and surprises!
The Florist is projected to have a 2026 release on PC and Consoles.
