GUNNAR Optiks has officially launched its new Trace Collection, featuring three frame styles inspired by California’s leading tech hubs: Barton, Davis, and Hayward. I would like ot thank our friends at GUNNAR for sending over these frames for me to check out personally!
In case you’re not familiar with what Gunnar does, Gunnar Optiks manufactures glasses that protect your eyes from the blue light emitted by the screens of monitors, phones, computers, and TVs. Their glasses are used by gaming industry professionals, animation studios (such as DreamWorks), eSports athletes, and even the military —pretty much anyone who has to stare at screens for hours.
The Davis glasses feature a modern yet retro-looking round frame and come in onyx or maple. Personally, I like the maple! The Barton is a contemporary rectangular frame that can come in Onyx or Sequoia. Finally, there’s the Hayward that also comes in a modern rectangular look, and has spring hinges; the frame comes in either Onyx or Teak.
All three frames have a saddle bridge with a metal inlay that appears minimalist to help add to the modern, stylish appearance while sitting at your desk OR enjoying a round or two with friends online. All three frames come with a microfiber cleaning cloth, a microfiber carrying pouch, and a storage case.
