Get ready for a sweeping heroic odyssey like no other! AMC and AMC+ have shared sneak peek clips for their brand-new series, “Nautilus,” premiering this month. This must-see television event premieres with two episodes on Sunday, June 29th, at 9:00 PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. Weekly Sunday will follow. The season will build to a thrilling two-episode finale on Sunday, August 17th.

Inspired by Jules Verne’s beloved Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, “Nautilus” plunges viewers into the thrilling origins of the legendary Captain Nemo, played by Shazad Latif (Penny Dreadful, Star Trek: Discovery). Latif portrays an Indian Prince, stripped of his birthright and family. The ruthless East India Mercantile Company imprisons him. However, he is driven by a desire for revenge against the forces that took everything from him. Nemo steals a submarine from the penal colony where he’s held. He escapes into the ocean with a motley crew of fellow prisoners.

His mission? To get revenge and reach the fabled Viking treasure buried at the Pillars of Halvar. However, first, he must win the trust of his crew and outmaneuver the East India Mercantile Company, which will stop at nothing to recapture him.

An Impressive Crew

The series stars Georgia Flood (Apples Never Fall) as Humility Lucas, Céline Menville (Emily in Paris) as Loti, and Thierry Fremont (Liaison) as Benoit. Look out for exciting guest appearances from Oscar®-nominee Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor.
