Writer-director Glenn Douglas Packard’s (interview) 2016 indie horror slasher Pitchfork introduced us to a new masked killer born out of abuse. Packard has now informed us that we’re getting a sequel, Pitchfork II: Homecoming.
While many details are still being kept quiet, we do know that actress Addisyn Wallace (interview), who was twelve during the original’s filming, is returning to reprise her role as Jenny in the sequel. Packard tells us she “plays a big part in the sequel with her pet Pitchfork.”
In the first film, “having recently shared a life-changing secret with his family, Hunter recruits his friends to come with him from New York to the farm where he grew up as he faces his parents for the first time. As the college students enjoy the fresh air of Michigan farm country, an older, more dangerous secret slowly emerges. While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger.”
There’s no word yet when Pitchfork II: Homecoming will be released, but we do have a first look teaser to share with you. Check it out.
